Development of Urban Development Plans: a decisive step for Fomboni and Mutsamudu
As part of the process of developing Urban Development Plans (UDP), the third phase marks a decisive stage. It aims to identify, discuss, and validate the structuring projects as well as the priority actions that will make it possible to realize the strategic vision defined for the development of the cities.
To this end, as part of the implementation of the Regional Climate Resilience Project, a mission is taking place from March 24 to 31, 2026 in the Comoros. This mission aims to support the development and validation of the sectoral plans of the UDPs of the cities of Fomboni and Mutsamudu.
This key step will make it possible to consolidate investment priorities and strengthen urban planning, taking into account the challenges of climate resilience and sustainable development.
