Carrying out a feasibility study for the implementation of a cellular broadcasting system as part of a strengthened national multi-hazard Early Warning System for the Union of the Comoros, TDS Group
The PRRC project has hired the TDS Group to conduct the feasibility study of the Cellular Dissemination System (CDS) within the framework of the National Strengthened Multi-Hazard Early Warning System of the Union of the Comoros. The consulting firm's first mission will take place from October 20 to 27, 2025, in the Comoros. This mission will involve consulting key stakeholders and actors in the early warning system in order to collect the data necessary for the design of a comprehensive feasibility study for the development and deployment of a CDS aimed at disseminating hydro-meteorological and multi-hazard information, with a particular focus on cyclonic winds, heavy rainfall, floods, landslides, and coastal surges.
